What works? Probably if you have found the answer you are not reading this! There are many get-rich-quick schemes out there including ones related to real estate. With the recent fall in real estate in many parts of the United States, real estate may not be the place to try to make money. If you have long-term plans, however, to increase your wealth, real estate is the way to go to build your passive income. One of the best books I have ever read on this subject is Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert T. Kiyosaki and Sharon L. Lechter.

These concepts can be easily taught to your children using a game called Cash Flow for Kids. We have used it with our children, and they are definately on the road to long-term wealth. They understand the concepts of assets, liabilities and passive income so well that they can share this information with their teenage friends. We played the game with them before they reached the teen years and have seen over the past several years the affect it has had on them in their thinking about money, work, saving, etc.
